HealthMust - Hospital Management Software

HealthMust is a software application designed to improve the quality and management of clinical care and hospital/health care management in the areas of clinical process analysis and activity-based costing. This provides opportunities for increased efficiency, substantial cost savings as well as continuous improvement.

HealthMust manages the administration of a hospital, right from the Pharmacy department to the Maintenance Department.

Each user of HealthMust will be given a user name and a password. As soon as a user logs into the system, a list of tasks that the user should take care of will be displayed.

The Patient Record Management module handles patient registration and history record management. Details that can be entered into a patients history record include vital statistics, allergies, medicines prescribed, etc. If the patient had been admitted to the hospital, all other stay-related details will be included.

The Net-Ready feature of HealthMust allows Doctors and Super-specialists to access their patients records through the Internet. They can leave notes, ask suggestions or request medicines to be administered. Through HealthMust, they have access to medical personnel at the hospital. Patients can be also given access to their medical records. Potential clients can access HealthMust via the Internet to book or make advance payments for diagnostic or other facilities offered by the hospital.

The Hospital Estate Management module takes care of all aspects of hospital rooms, including billing, availability, maintenance and housekeeping.

The Maintenance module does all maintenance administration related tasks, such as reminding the maintenance crew of tasks on the maintenance schedule.

The Pharmacy Management module manages inventory, automatically sends an alert when stocks are approaching a reorder level or when stocks are being utilised at an abnormal rate.

The Accounts section is integrated with all other modules. This enables a central billing system. Every service accessed by clients or inpatients at any department will be tracked and added to his account. On checkout, the customer will be handed over the all-inclusive bill with detailed breakup of costs. The Accounts module also manages salaries and other payouts.
